![]() ![]() It's not immersive to have chromatic aberration and vignetting that are nott justified by the shape and curvature of the helmet's glass. It's not immersive to have ice forming on a non-existent camera that is placed well behind and above my character. Allright then, duly noted.Īlso, just for the sake of discussion, I understand it's supposed to be immersive, and it would be in first person view. And that warrants the flagrant display of idiocy and passive-agressive answers. Even though I did mention that it was a matter of taste and I perfectly understand why some people do like it, in my very first post. So fanboys and white knights feel insulted by the fact I dislike ONE aspect of the visuals in the game. Originally posted by Johnny in the Clouds:The 'hostility perhaps is inferred by the original 'harsh' unrelenting tone of your initial criticism which in fairness to Hello Games does not 'suck' is not 'god-awful' or 'hideous' and did not take into account the majority of players who enjoy the game and much of the immersive design detail.įair enough. I really can't play with that on, so I need your hekp killing it with fire once and for all. The visual options for this game are extremely lacking. Nexus requires me to create an account, which I just might if I find something that works and not some 2 years old mod that is no longer updated because "it's part of the options now", and returns me to the mods list when I click "download", without saying why. Mods that have been removed because "it's now part of the options" (no it's not, at least not clearly so and then I need some help ), or simply can't be downloaded. Instead, I end up arriving on tons upon tons of pages dating back to 2018 pointing to mods supposed to do just that. I've tried finding back the page that explained in the first place how to do it, but I couldn't. But now, they're back ! And the setting is still to false. ![]() So, I used my google-fu, found a few graphic tweaks, edited the graphics setting file to set "scanand vignette" (or whatever the exact wording is) to "false", and for a while it was fine. I understand some people like them, but I just can't play with those. It sucks, it's god-awful, it's hideous, you get the idea. I would understand those if I were playing in first person view, but I'm not, and even then I would want them gone. Scanlines, vignetting, the freezing that occurs on all the screen on a cold world. If you are interested in learning more about the game then you can check out our guide on how you can get Flying Fart Fish. When I started to play a few weeks ago, the first thing I wanted to do was removing the extremely, unbearably annoying screen effects. This is how you can find Copper in No Man’s Sky. Copper is present in asteroids, but it is hard to stumble across an asteroid field. Whenever you see these mountains go scanning for copper around these areas. There is also a chance you can get copper resources from rock towers that you can find on some planets and moons. Unfortunately, not all planets have floating islands, and you will have to look for them quite a bit. ![]() This is because there is a very high chance of copper being present in the area where there is a floating island. If you land on a planet with a floating island, then consider yourself lucky. This will give you a deeper scan of all of your surroundings. You can do the scan from your ship or by using a scanning visor on the ground. If you have already discovered and scanned the planet once before, then the screen will tell you whether the elements are present on the planet or not.Īfter arriving at a random planet you can scan the planet for potential copper resources. This will inform you whether the planets in your system have copper or not. The first thing you can do is to open up your discovery menu. This No Man’s Sky guide will include all the details and tips on how to find copper in the game. You need copper for a lot of things like refining Chromatic Metal. Nevertheless, finding copper can be hard because not every planet has the resource. Copper is not one of the rarer resources in the game. ![]()
